How to get a Library Card DISTRICT LIBRARY

The West Branch District Library is made up of the City of West Branch and the Townships of Edwards, Foster, Horton, Ogemaw and West Branch. Anyone who lives in or owns property in these entities can get a library card. Anyone not living in the above townships can still get a card, by purchasing a Non-Resident Library Card.  The fee for a Non-Resident Library card is currently $25.00 and is payable by cash, check, or credit card at the Circulation Desk.

What Do I Need?
Under 18
A parent or legal guardian must accompany you to the library to fill out the new member card. A valid form of identification must be presented for the parent or legal guardian.
Valid forms of identification include Driver’s License or State Issued Identification Card.
The address on the identification must be current. If the address is not current a tax statement or utility bill showing service at that address may be used.

18 and Over
You must come to the library and present a valid form of identification.
Valid forms of identification include Driver’s License or State Issued Identification Card.
The address on the identification must be current. If the address is not current a tax, statement or utility bill showing service at that address may be used.

You can still get a library card, however, you will have to purchase a Non-Resident Library Card.
The fee for a Non-Resident Library card is currently $25.00 and is payable by cash, check or credit card at the Circulation Desk.
